Teen Classes:

Introduction to the Potter's Wheel: In this class, students ages 11+ will learn the basic skills required to produce functional clay items on the potter's wheel. These skills will include the safe use of tools, equipment and materials, preparation, centering and lifting simple forms on the wheel, along with the
application of glazes. Seven weeks.$190 includes materials.

Summer 2010 TEEN CAMPS

Children's Clay:

Students age 6-10 will have fun making pots using the hand-building techniques of pinch, coil and slab. They will be able to decorate their creations using colored slips, and will use tools for texture. Pieces will be fired, providing lasting memories of their time spent in a real working studio. $160 (includes materials) seven weeks.
